With three springer spaniels we looked to reserve near Sestriere to join a large group of scots for a ski week as the hotel did not accept dogs. We found Villa Millefiore and were not disappointed. The apartment although not for the faint hearted on the second floor of a traditional old chalet was charming. The wooden kitchen hand made by the owners and the view front to the mountains and back to the church steeple were lovely. There was a fire but we don’t use it as we did not feel like humping the logs up but the option was there. The heating was very efficient and there was loads of hot water. We drank fresh milk and ate cheese and honey from their farm for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable.
We could park in front of the building. The drive up to Sestriere was very easy. We would love to go back maybe even in the summer. The whole family was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
